Admissions Requirements for Fall 2024
The application for the Fall 2024 Dental Hygiene program is now closed. The application for Fall 2025 will open November 1, 2024.
Virtual information Sessions are held from September through January of each year. The Admissions Office and the Dental Hygiene Program Director will share up-to-date information about the program and answer questions about the curriculum, clinical assignments, support services, and the admissions process. Attendance at an information session within the last two years is required for all applicants to the Dental Hygiene program. Please RSVP for an upcoming session below:

Dental Hygiene applicants are required to submit the following materials to the Admissions Office, postmarked no later than 5:00 pm EST on February 7, 2025:
Your application will be considered incomplete until all materials are received. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
The Dental Hygiene program is offered each fall semester is not available for a spring semester start. The maximum enrollment is 28 students per year. Once the top candidates have been selected, a waitlist of up to 30 students will be created in chronological order and maintained until the first week of classes in the fall semester.

The Dental Hygiene program is a highly selective and competitive program with a limited quantity of spaces. Students who complete the admissions requirements are eligible for application review by the admissions office, however, completion of the minimum admissions requirements does not guarantee acceptance or a spot on the waitlist.

Courses listed on official transcript must be complete with a final grade. Courses that are "in progress" or do not have final grade posted cannot be accepted. Transfer credits must have a grade of C- or higher and be completed at a regionally accredited college or university.

Students seeking to attend ¹û¶³´«Ã½ to take pre-admission coursework are encouraged to apply for our Associate in Arts: Health Science, Pre-Dental Hygiene Focus program. This program does not have special admissions requirements and is recommended for students who are not transferring credits from another college or university.
Upon acceptance, accepted students must complete the following:
